How do you play along?
We all have tons of photos from the days before the digital camera. I figure if I just scan a few each week, eventually I will get them all safely into my computer. But you don't need a scanner to participate - Just find a photo that takes you back to another time.

and my best friend (the red head) in the 6th grade!
So, recently I 'stalked' the internet searching for my best childhood friend. We both moved away from that town after our 6th grade year.
I actually found her on Facebook. I haven't seen or talked to her in almost 20 years! Now I feel like a true stalker!!! She might even think I am insane.
She was sweet enough to send me this photo of our middle school cheerleading group. For 20 years, I have missed her companionship. I am sure we are completely different people now, but I wanted to find her just to know she was happy and well.

You are so not a stalker! I have done the same thing (well ok, maybe we are both stalkers) and have reconnected with so many friends that I had lost contact with. It feels good to remember those times and even though we are all older and most of us live so far away - I feel like I am that young girl again. And on days I feel and look like an old hag - those feelings are priceless!!
So glad we've "found" eachother - Even though we are "competing" I am glad to be doing so with you!
I think a lot of people use facebook the very same way! I haven't looked up a soul though. lol
But, I keep running into people in person so I don't have to.

That is so cool that you got reconnected! I have never looked for someone for 20 years, but I did find a friend I had lost for 7 years recently on Facebook.

Well, my long lost friend, you are not a stalker in any form. I must admit I spent quite some time looking for you as well. You are the one friend that pops into mind from time to time when thinking about my childhood! You and I shared so many precious memories and I often wonder where life has taken you. You were a great friend to me and I hope that we can continue to keep in touch and hopefully one day have a little reunion! Thanks for looking for me! Talk to you soon.
